We are a small cake business based in Plymouth owned by me, Georgie Rowe! I opened Mrs.Browns when I was only 17 years old in late 2013. It was a massive decision to make in my life, but you never get anywhere without a bit of a risk! I pour all my passion & love into my business with heaps of support from my lovely family, colleagues and customers! So here we are! Almost two years later, my dream of owning my small family run business is thriving. So here’s a little bit about us. Everyone needs a little bit of inspiration! It’s anywhere and everywhere, sometimes we just don’t see what’s right in front of us! I am lucky enough to have my amazing Nanny Pat, who to this day teaches me all of her recipes and baking secrets! (I’ve said too much already..)
So I’ll tell you a little bit about what we do here at Mrs.Browns! On a day to day basis we make people’s tummies happy with a selection of freshly baked cupcakes, brownies, traybakes, & chocolate treats, as well as Nanny Pats famous homemade quiches and savoury pies! For special occasions, we create bespoke novelty cakes tailored to suit you, you give us a basic idea and we will run with it! Mrs.Browns also does a lot more, including; Vintage fairs, Homemade savoury food, Buffets, Cake smashes, Cupcake decorating workshops & Birthday parties. (We like to keep busy!) We are also a Monday – Friday selling a variety of freshly made sandwiches, panini’s & breakfasts, thrown in with a good cuppa tea and a piece of cake for good measure.
